The CR-V’s four-wheel drive system called Real Time four-wheel drive system is not used all the time, the front wheels drives are the most used. When the front wheels lose traction, it is activated automatically sending power to the rear wheels only. The rear wheels will get the greater amount of torque when the front wheels slip more.

The new CR-V comes in two different trim levels, the base CR-V, and the higher trimmed CR-V Sport model. The base CR-V costs at $32,000 for the manual versions while the CR-V Sport costs at $36,500. By paying an extra $2000, both models can have an optional automatic transmission.
